I can't believe these come with a 5/16 line. The one I have is set up with a plastic line that uses push on connections like a late model car, is this right? I want my old fashioned 3/8 tubing, or better yet, -6AN braid. Is there a replacement fuel sender/pick up that has a 3/8 line? I'm using a mechanical pump, not electric

Does anyone know what these sending units are out of? Still the same 1994-2004 Mustang?

5/16” fuel line works fine for my 430HP LS3.

Yeah Jim, I was all geared up to re-do everything but, I'm just going to run it as it is. I removed the waterfall, pulled the tank out forward just enough to pull the sending unit, clean the gasket and re-install. I'll chalk it up to going through everything and getting peace of mind knowing what's what and that it's done right. Found the sending unit wires hiding and not connected and also the ground strap not connected.

I used the stock line. I cut the very end off of the supply end which looked to me where it was restrictive. A 3/8 compression fitting to 6AN fit perfect on it.
