Has anyone installed this with a TKX on a MK4 roadster? Any figment issues with the crossmembers? Seems like it’s both cheaper and reversible, unlike SST, both of which appeal to me. Hoping to hear some input on not only fitment but also how it shifts.

Thanks!

Small steel plate and 4 holes to accomplish the same thing. This is on my coupe with a SBF and TKX. Positions shifter in ideal location for me. Not my design. Purchased off another forum member.

So are you flipped to the forward position of the lower part of the transmission, basically just unbolting the six bolts and rotating it 180°, and then adding on this metal plate?

Yes. Exactly right. The plate was made from a piece of scrap steel by the forum member I bought the shifter from. If needed I can give the dimensions. If you look close you can see an additional set of holes between the transmission lever bolts and the shifter lever bolts which also could have been used. I like the full forward location.

Hey Scott and VKannan. I'm in the same boat... was looking as well at the Hanlon 2" offset just last week and was going to post a question as well. Never even thought of making a plate to extend the lever. what a brilliant idea.

Scott can you give a bit more detail on the plate. dimensions would be helpful since i will probably go this route to get my shifter moved forward.

Thanks Doug

I'll measure it today.

The plate is 3" x 2" x 3/16". The holes are spaced about 1" apart.
