Headers, J pipe etc etc

HI,
The time is here .. well .. getting here.
My tranny and rear end are arriving tomorrow, the engine in the next week or so, and the kit completion date is Jan 28th.
I had planned on using the FF headers, mated to the 5.0 HO engine with GT40 heads. When we finalized the kit the headers were not there and I was told they were not available for the 289. Well crap. I have not talked to the engine builder yet but stock exhaust, even polished etc. does not seem to make sense for all that is done to the engine. It will be 420 ... ish HP.
What would the alternative be for this? I am sure you all have had this issue.

I used bbl equal length headers for a fox body with the j pipes. Not period correct but they look pretty cool IMHP.178158178159178160178161

Now that I think about it, I have a set of bbk cobra headers I found at a swap meet if you can use those your welcome to them or anybody, in great shape just pay shipping.
