Hello everyone. I've been watching the forums for about a year and a half. I read a lot of kit car magazines in my teens and early 20's, but never built one. Now my teenage son, Lucas, and I have started our own MK4 build! We ordered it last February, and received it the weekend after Thanksgiving, 2022. A used IRS arrived a few weeks ago. My father donated the powerplant...a 1967 428FE engine from an old T-bird he has had since I was a kid, but was rarely driven while I was growing up. Lucas and I plan to add an Edelbrock Proflo4 port injection kit to it, among other things during a rebuild. Tranny will be a TKX, but we haven't gotten it yet.
