Well Santa decided I deserved a lift :) I have a rather small and low ceiling 2 car garage so the MaxJax M6 2 post portable lift seemed like just the ticket. Took delivery today and will start the installation tomorrow.
This is really my first time operating a lift. Been reading all the cautionary notes in the documentation. Seems centering the weight is pretty critical.
I think the '33 with SBF is fairly balanced front to back, close to 50/50 so I was planning on lining up the post centerline with the center of the wheel base, extending the lift arms to reach the frame, have the front and rear contact points equal distance from centerline fore and aft and lift....
Sound good? Open to all experienced opinions....
