The instructions regarding the wiring for the brake and clutch safety switches are confusing. To wire the brake pedal switch, do both the orange and purple wires attach side by side to the spades closest to the contact switch? And for the clutch pedal, do both wires attach side by side to the spades furthest away from the contact switch? Thanks for your help!

Factory Five doesn't actively monitor here. If you're expecting an answer from them. Best to post your questions in whatever forum you're building, e.g. Roadster, Coupe, etc. Lots of us there to try to help.

As for your question, this has been asked a number of times with several guesses why the manual is probably misleading. The brake switch should be on the terminals that close when the pedal is pushed down. If you're building with a Coyote, it has a clutch safety switch as part of the Ford Performance control pack and doesn't use the stock switch. For all other builds, if you plan to use the stock switch, it also should use the terminals that close when the pedal is pushed down. You can use a VOM or continuity checker to confirm which pair of terminals to use for each.

Thanks Edward, I have a Blueprint 306 so no Coyote switch involved. I had both switches wired the same until reviewing the manual had me second guessing. Easy enough to switch it back, thanks again.

fyi, unless the manual has been updated, the pics showing the wires to the clutch safety switch is reversed regarding which wires go to which poles. If you can't fire it up with the clutch pedal depressed, try again with the foot off the clutch. then swap the wires on the switch.
