Hello everyone and happy new year!

I have an issue with my fuse panel (RF Harness, builduing a MKIV). There is no power at all coming out of the middle section on any of the wires... Yes, I did try new fuses.... So, no power for my gauges, wipers, heater and radio (that one I intend to use for a USB phone charger). All the wires from the left and right sections have power on them and work fine….

I did not try any fussy wiring/plugging and followed to te letter the FFR wiring diagram.

Do you have an idea about what would cause that problem??? and how to solve it???

Thanks for the help!

Those are powered off of the accessory. Is the key turned in your ignition switch? My guess would be it's something related to that, probably in this order from most likely to less likely:

- Ignition switch not turned to Accessory
- The ignition switch not wired correctly for accessory
- Ignition switch is faulty (you can test this by hardwiring your accessory feed directly with the battery feed to test out
- Wiring issue in the harness
- Defect in the fuse panel that feeds that part

The accessory portion of the panel is powered at the ignition switch by the Ron Francis brown BRN-ACC FEED -> IGN SW wire. If attached correctly to the ACC connection at the switch, the ACC portion of the panel should be powered with the ignition switch in either the accessory or run position. Likely solved. On the other forum the OP suggested he may have connected only the BRN-ALTERNATOR IGN in error. For many builds, the brown alternator wire isn't used.
