So, Aptera went bankrupt. Not sure if many others care about this, but I was a huge fan of these cars and wanted to buy one when they came available.

Even though this is a performance car company's forum, I imagine I'm not the only one that thinks this car's shape, efficiency and presence were cool as hell. :-)
Does anyone else think their vehicle would be a viable kit option for people to buy? You think any kit car company will pick up the rights to the car and start selling kits? I'd imagine that some of the more expensive parts of the automotive world (crash testing, etc) are what pushed Aptera to bankruptcy. I could be wrong though...
Does anyone think a kit car company like FFR (hint, hint Mr. Smith ;-P) would consider selling these, even though they aren't a "performance" car? I'm not trying to get people to agree with me. I just think that it's a really cool car and concept.
