I'd think a wrecked STI would be better... I'd feel guilty taking any of this car apart... SOmeone that just wants to race that car would be a better purchaser I would think?

No way....Once you take the good stuff out of it, it's worth nothing. The bid is starting at $12K. This dude wants a lot more than that.

+1 To me it would be like using my near perfect, unmolested, low mileage STI for an 818 donor.
But, having said that there without doubt, people who cringe at using a "nice" Fox body Mustang for a FFR Mark * roadster or 65 Coupe donor. While to me, they are completely worthless after engine and transmission are removed. However, the steel they are made from could be recycled to build a new Subaru and redeem their existence some.

Taking apart a well sorted race car, regardless of make, to build a kit car is just wrong. Trashing some stock or white trash modded 5.0 is one thing, this is on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. I'd be just as upset if you stripped this for a FFR roadster
