Hi all,
I'll be finalizing my order any day now.
-getting antsy....lol
I'm still a little on the fence about wheel choice.
Deciding between the GO-TO Halibrands or American Muscle Mustang wheels.

I know it comes down to my decision but any thoughts or opinions are welcome.
Especially if there would be any fitment issues I'm not aware of.

Thanks for any input

Option 2 would be my preference for aftermarket. I stayed with the FFR Halibrand to keep some vintage look, although I did order 18 inch wheels for better rubber options.

Wheel choice is one of the toughest decisions if you are not going with the Halibrands.
If I had to pick from these two wheels, it would be Option-2 as well.
On a personal note, I agonized over this same issue.
Ultimately I let my son make the final choice.
He's got a good eye for getting it right.

Either wheel will look nice so you will have a winner with either wheel.
Good Luck, Happy Hanukkah & Merry Christmas!

I just looked all over the Am Mu site trying to find backspace specs for those wheels but no luck. The 9x17 should be 6in BS and the 10.5 should be about 6.9 BS. I see slight variations on the rears ranging from 6.8 to 7.0 which is why I say 'about'.

FYI If you want those Bullitt style wheels and are OK with anthracite color they are significantly ($600) cheaper here, and in the exact sizes and offsets as the Factory Five Halibrands.

I have some AX wheels that look similar to that. I found them used on Craigslist and the supplier (https://www.wheelreplicas.com/17x10-5-Anthracite-w-Mirror-Face-03-Dish-Style-Wheel-p274316426) indicated they were for the 1994 to 2004 Mustang, but the trouble I had was the inner diameter with respect to the Wilwood barking brake caliper. I just removed a small amount of material from the caliper and got the clearance I needed.
If it helps, here's what they look like on my roadster (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?30668-GTBradley-s-build-Heat-deflectors-for-footbox-air-vent-tubes-that-actually-work&p=487056&viewfull=1#post487056):
