Did you guys use a Ron Francis harness on your red MK4? If so, who is the expert to talk to for question integrating the the two? Thanks.

There isn't much difficulty at all. Do you have the Coyote harness yet?

Yes. I mounted the computer like the pics Richard Oben posted. I just wanted to confirm what I am thinking when dealing with duplicate connections for the Ford and Ron Francis harness.
You used ISIS, correct?

I would be interested in knowing what you did as well

The two harnesses are almost independent, so I don't really understand the question. The Ford harness controls the starter solenoid (no auxiliary start relay required), the cooling fan, fuel pump. There's a wire for the clutch or neutral safety switch, and it looks for a 12 volt signal from the chassis harness when the key is actuated. The Ford user instructions are very specific. Any duplicate functions in the Ron Francis harness can be discontinued or the circuit can be used for another purpose.

Okay, let me see if I can explain everything.
Fuel Pump
Using the OEM connector, I'll solder the Ford Racing wire to it, and then ground the pump to the chassis with an eyelet.
Ron Francis Pump connection will not be used on the rear harness.
Alternator
Use the Ford Racing wires.
Ron Francis wiring will not be used.
Starter
?????
Fan
Powered and controlled by the Ford Racing wiring.
Ron Francis will not be used.
Ron Francis Main Harness Connection Questions
Starter Solenoid - Where does this go? What does it look like?
Ignition Switch - Where does this go? What does it look like?
Coil EFI/Crank - Do I need these?
Alternator - I assume I don't need these?
Sending Units/Elec. Choke - I assume I don't need these?

Call me when you have a few minutes, I will go over what we did. It is not hard but there are a lot of wires and a lot not used. 816-436-1610 Richard.

Richard,
Thanks for the offer. I got a call from another member who put a Coyote in his 33. I think I have a good understanding now.

I am also at the stage of installing the engine wiring harness for my 5.0L Coyote (MK4)
Has anyone got a wiring diagram for this to help make the install smoother - as well as plumbing diagram for hoses etc (running heater)?
What is the advantage of the ISIS system over the stock install - I am considering going with the ISIS as well
Thx
Matt

As Joe states these are really two different harnesses, The Coyote is super simple to wire, it requires a battery lead to the control box,a key on lead , a key on in start posiiton and a few grounds,, The key on and and key start leads can betaken from the Ron Francis, EFI and coil leads. otherwise it is pretty much plug and play. Youw ill aslo need to extend the oygen sensor wires.7025

ok Thx
Nice photo of your install
Can you post a few more photos - hose connections for heater, etc
Thx
