Wow, 10 months in the making. Now I've got a few days worth of inventory to do.

Congratulations! A very exciting day indeed. Felt like a kid and just wanted to go to bed so the day comes sooner :)

Check out the inventory spreadsheet in my signature. I digitized mine. It help with tracking things, and especially finding things later on when you need to find that one set of bolts and you're not sure in which box it is :)

Congratulations & Remember To Do The Following:

1. Make a copy of your inventory sheets.
2. Attach a copy of the individual sheets to each of the corresponding boxes.
3. Carefully when doing your inventory and place each item back into each box that it belonged to.
4. Do Not Mix Up The Part Because Chasing Parts Stinks!
5. Contact Factory-5 about any missing items.

After that is completed, pour yourself your favorite adult beverage, and get ready for the amazing adventure that awaits you.

Congratulations & Merry Christmas!

Thanks for the tips. I'm coincidentally already doing most of that. So far I'm on box 18 and there's some missing items (but marked missing from FFR), some missing items that are checked on the inventory list from FFR (brake lights), some broken items (rear view mirror), and some extra stuff (two door latch kits). The only thing I'm doing different is if something was missing from a lower numbered box but put into a higher numbered box, I move that item back to the box it was supposed to be included in and put a note in my inventory sheets. I guess they got some parts in late after my boxes were packaged up and added them right before Stewart picked up my kit.

In that regard, when I go back to FFR for the missing items do I include ALL the missing stuff, including what they already marked as missing on my inventory list? Or do I just add what I discovered was missing? The two big ticket items missing are my exhaust, and my gauge pack.

Only send them a list of items that are marked as delivered but are missing. Things on the POL they are aware of and tracking and will send them to you over time as they become available.

Thank you for this! I appreciate it and will use it when mine comes in roughly 147 days.

Let the fun begin. As mentioned, take a detailed inventory. I found that FF (at least pre pandemic) was extremely good at replacing things even if you find them faulty down the road. I had a headlight switch that was bad as well as a leaky rear caliper that they replaced much later than the 60d grace period (or whatever it is).

There is nothing subtle about that truck cruising down your street. I remember it well. It's very exciting, and now you got yours just before the holiday! Just don't ignore the family... :) Congratulations!

Are you kidding? Why do you think I bought this project in the first place! ;)
