Gas tank in before rear

Hey so lack of parts is about to slow me down. I’ve been working around and am about to revisit things to work on while waiting for POL items. So can the gas tank be put up in place before the IRS gets installed? I have four 1/2 bolts that are six inches long(not part of the kit), can I put the rear diff in place and change out hardware when the real stuff shows up?

So you have the IRS but are missing the correct mounting bolts? If so, I'd definitely install the IRS with temporary bolts first, before installing the gas tank. It should be pretty easy to swap hardware. Installing an IRS with the fuel tank in place would be doable, but more complicated than doing it before putting the tank in.

Just a note on the mounting bolts on the diff .... They are metric. 2 ea M16-2.0 x 130mm amd 2 ea M14-2.0 x 100mm. The upper control arms and the toe arms also use metric bolts.
