getting ready to dyno the engine and need a belt Does anyone have a belt length for a serpentine drive? I'm using the Forte power steering and alternator mount.

Considering the variability of engine configurations, you might have better luck with a piece of string, a tape measure, and a trip down to Auto Zone.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, but that's what I did for my 302 with only a water pump and an alternator.

Do any of these look like your pully configuration?

Best bet would be to measure as stated above or call Mike and ask. The engine didn't come with a belt?

Me too. Those guys must be used to selling 3-4 belts and then taking all but one back. They were always nice about it. I did my part by making sure the cardboard sleeve did not get damaged and I never actually started the car w/ any of the returns on the engine.

I had a blast when that desk jockey behind the register asked me what make and model it was for...

Whatever you end up with, make a note of the pn#/length somewhere and maybe even buy a spare to throw in the trunk...cheap roadside insurance.

The length is always on the old belt if you have one. The only way anyone can know which belt works with these builds is to use a string or piece of rope to measure.

Use string to measure the diameter. Take it to AutoZone, they have a wall mounted ruler to give the length. They will pull the belt off the shelf.

I cut my string three times and it's still too short. What do I do now?

I was planning to go the string route once I had the engine 100% complete, just thought that someone has probably been down this road before.... Clearly you all have and the answer is to use the string.
thanks for the responses.

called Mike before posting, he too said that he did not know based on having the PS added...
BTW... it would be similar to the 82.7 without the idler on the top...
