To all my friends who don't like the choice of a Coyote because of all the hoses and wires and think it looks too busy. I present under the hood of the 1964 289 FIA Cobra Roadster CSX2345. This Cobra is on display inside the Shelby American Collection in Boulder, Colorado. Please don't take this post too seriously. Quiet Saturday without much to do and just having a little fun. ;) Plus it is pretty cool seeing an original and how they really looked.

No braided hoses either.

Oh come on! Everyone knows that hoses are cool but wires aren't! ;)

Its really cool to see an original engine bay as it was when the car was raced.
I don't think Mr. Shelby cared about winning trophies at car shows, only races.

Thanks for sharing a historical perspective Paul :)

I saw the hoses and wires and then immediately focused on what appears to be cowl braces. Is that what those diagonal bars appear to be?
