Hi All!,
I should be finalizing my order with FF any day now.
I am getting my Coyote from Mike Forte with power steering.
On the order sheet from factory five for steering it has-
Coyote power steering kit......$1,199.00
Power steering kit (requires pump and bracket)......$299.00
Does anyone know if the "Rack" is different for the coyote?
I would think not, but the way they list it has me unclear.
Trying not to double order or leave anything out.
I put a call in to FFR but 3 days later, still no call back.
I'm sure this will work itself out but if anyone can help, thanks in advance:o
I'm starting to get that feeling from childhood around this time of year.....lol;)

The complete kit comes with the manual rack. The power steering option upgrades to pwr rack and includes braided lines, fittings, and pump. The rack is not coyote specific. hth

As already stated, the power steering rack is not engine dependent. Same for all. One hint though. Ford doesn't make a power steering setup for the Coyote because it goes into vehicles with electric assist (EPAS). So an engine driven system will, by definition, be custom. The Factory Five power steering for the Coyote is a KRC setup. This one specifically: https://www.krcpower.com/ecommerce/pn-kit-66302125.asp. It's a high end setup and pump that bolts directly onto the Coyote and doesn't interfere with any other Coyote accessory parts, e.g. alternator, A/C compressor (if used obviously), and water pump. There are cheaper options, e.g. an OE style pump with some type of mounting bracket. But the KRC system is much better, plus adjustable with different flow valves. Hopefully Forte is supplying the KRC system on your build. I'd ask to make sure if you don't know.

Thank you for your response.
I'm not sure If it is the KRC system.
I'm sure at this point what ever it is it's already on the engine....lol.
I will ask next time we speak which should be pretty soon.

I am building a MKIV with a coyote and ordered the Power steering set up. U joints and directions call for a 1” shaft but was only shipped 2 3/4” D shafts. Am I missing something or do I have wrong parts”

If you get Mike to put the pump on for you, don't order the kit from FFR, but do order the rack. Two separate things. Just give them a call to make sure they have it right, I actually ordered it right but somehow they threw the Coyote kit in anyways, and charged me for it. I returned it and they refunded me.
You'll need to get hoses, AN fittings and an expansion tank (make sure it's baffled) all separate. I ordered it all from summit, Breeze should have the hoses at the least, maybe not the tank. If you get the FFR pump, it has an expansion tank on it, eliminates some of that work.
Also, I had a bear of a time with the pump Mike installed for me. It was a GM pump, higher pressure. Took 3 blown hoses before I figured that out (invoice didn't have any specifics). You have to use one of these kits:https://www.summitracing.com/parts/brg-899001 with the pump for these cars. Wasn't too bad to install the washers in the pump discharge.
