The car I bought has the hood and side panels for the 33 grill. The guy smashed the bottom of the 33 grill loading on a trailer so he went with the Deluxe grill and now I want to switch back to the 33 Grill to match the hood and side panels. It looks like it's more than just a grill, it's also a different radiator and brackets, correct? For those in the know, Please take a look at the pics of what I have and tell me what you think I need to switch back. THANK YOU

I can't tell without a side shot of the front of the grill. It doesn't seem to have the scoop out on the bottom like a 33 has. As far as the radiator goes ?. I would contact FFR parts and ask. I would think you would need almost everything except maybe the radiator. The grills were arriving 4-6 months after kit delivery a couple months ago so the sooner you contact them the better. The hoses too would probably need to be replaced.

Just looking at your picture the radiator is different as well. The cap is on the radiator for the standard grill setup, a least on mine.

I don't really want to answer - because I have gen1 - but my standard radiator doesn't look like that. The main brackets are the same (attached to chassis)

Yes, I realize the radiators are different as far as the filler mount, not sure if one could be use with the other or not.

The brackets would be my biggest concern, if I would need to order new brackets or not. I'm trying to find one someone may have one they want to sell to avoid ordering one from FFR.

You will need the shell, grill, radiator, mounting brackets, hoses and possibly the headlight mounts. Not a big labor or time but could be expensive!

The more I look at it, I have to ask, why won't the 32 radiator work with the 33 Grill? It looks like the brackets are the same just that the 32 has an additional bracket that makes it stand up straight.

You may run into issues with the fill/pressure valve fitting between the radiator and the engine block once its tilted back on the 33 mount.
I am actually interested in converting from the 33 grill to the Deluxe. Looks like I would need a new radiator, glass, grill, and mounting brackets.
