I have an Mustang 8.8 rear.
I changed my 4 lug axels to 5 lug
Will stock brake parts , rotors, and caliper brackets bolt up to my 8.8 rear?
Parts from a 1995 mustang are 5 lug.
Any help would be great.
thanks

Parts from a 95 such as caliper brackets are for the wider axle shafts. If you use Fox width axle shafts and caliper relocation brackets the 95 calipers and rotors will work. Proper shafts and brackets are available from Richard Oben at North Stacey Cars.

I am just finishing up the assembly of a Fox 8.8 for my future Roadster. I bought a used 95 8.8 axle housing with axle shafts (28 spline, shafts I'm not using) for $120.
I have already bought a set of (79-93) Fox length 31 spline alloy axles ($200) from Summit racing. Came with seals, bearings and studs.
A used 3.27 Ford gear set ($50)
A new Detroit Tru-trac ($469 Ebay)
Gear w/bearings install kit for $59
The plan is to buy these aluminum offset caliper brackets for $99 (https://www.ebay.com/itm/304644475154)

Depending on the brake rotors you use, another thing to consider is the hub diameter of the center of the axle. The Fox body diameter is smaller than the SN95 so an adapter ring is required to center the rotors on the axle. I bought a whole kit from CJ Pony Parts for 2004 Mustang Cobra rear disc brakes. It included everything needed to convert. The flexible brake lines are too short for my 33 Hot Rod but I don't know about your roadster. The caliper adapter plates are included. I also bought some used anti-moan brackets on eBay for $45.That price you stated on eBay for the adapter plates is a little more half of most I've seen, good deal!

I bought 5 lug conversion axles from LMR. I then bought caliper brackets off eBay. This allowed me to use 94+ Mustang GT calipers and rotors. I also used 94+ Mustang GT e-brake cables.

I'm still little confused. I also forgot to mention, My 8.8 rear is a disk brake rear. I replaced the 4 lug with 5 lug axels. Do I still need to buy conversion plates to adapt the caliper bracket?
Thanks guys.

As far as I know 4-lug 8.8 axles never came from the factory with disk brakes on Mustangs. Sounds like you have some sort of disk brake swap already.

Why not just redrill the rotors you have to the new 5 lug pattern??

Thanks all
I used OEM 10.5 " rotors and the OEM calipers worked. Did not need relocation brackets. But did need wheel centering rings. Precise measurements are required as they make a whole slu of different sizes.
