I recently ordered a MK4 Roadster and configured my it for a 1991 donor car. Since then, I have acquired a 2000 model GT. I will still use the motor, transmission, wiring, etc from the 1991.
Can I use the newer 2000 suspension components without reconfiguring my kit?
Thanks for any help.

I would call factory five.

The other issue is the rear end housing is too wide for the Mark IV. It is a full 1.5" wider than a 94-98 and 3" wide than the Fox.

Sounds like a winner for the Type-65, but man is that way off the mark for a MK-4.

To say the least it is great to have Professional Builders like Gordon helping us out.

AS Gordon said the rear end is too wide. Fuel tank and pedal box will work. The front control arms and spindles will work but have less than ideal bump steer geometry and move the wheels out about 3/8" per side which can lead to tire rub issues. In the forum tradition of "LET US HELP YOU SPEND YOUR MONEY" I'll highly recommend that you use neither and go to the FFR tubular control arms and their proprietary spindles which will allow use of the 2000 hubs, rotors and calipers. There's more but that's a start...
