Does anyone have a hood in their junk parts pile? I'm looking for one to modify to fit my car - can be as rough as you like, I'm going to cut it up :D
Central TX area for pickup preferably..

If you watched Street Rod Jim's YouTube videos, he had an extra, extra clearance hood that FFR sent him because of a warpage problem. I don't know if he still has it or sent the old one back or if he wants to keep it but you could PM him and ask.

I have an unmolested Gen 1 hood .... probably cost a fortune to ship from SoCal

Just an update on here for next time.. I tried getting reasonable shipping quotes, but as squeeze suspected, it's ridiculous. Tried all the avenues, incl uship.
So if anyone is in the central TX area, let's talk :)

I've shipped transmissions through Fastenal. They have a service that you can drop something heavy or bulky at one of their stores and they will put it on one of their trucks and send to a store near you. Shipped a Muncie from Florida to Ohio for $150. You'd have to check as to what restrictions they may have on something like a hood.
