Starting to dive into all the electrical connections and laying out how I'm gonna tackle this. So far I have 3 questions that I can't seem to find any answers for:

1. Does the brown Alternator Ign wire attach to the same post on the Alternator that the Red Alt FD connects to? I have a single wire ALT from BluePrint on a 347 (Also what is the purpose of this brown wire?)

2. I am wiring a battery cut off switch and using the positive side for the cut off. I have a carb so I don't need to worry about an EFI Computer but I would like to keep the dash clock constantly connected. What size wire and breaker/fuse would you use for this connection. Also does my crude sketch up make sense?

3. For the FFR Vintage gauges can use the Speedo sender from the transmission and the GPS signal? Or is it one or the other?

I appreciate any help!

1. For your setup, the brown alternator wire isn't needed. At the alternator or the other end at the ignition switch. As long as neither side is hooked up, you can just clip it off both ends where it goes into the covolute.

2. That would work. If you attach to the red wire in the dash harness (check the RF schematic) that will provide always on power to the clock and the GPS sensor in the speedo. Provides for the GPS to always remember its last position and it boots up much more quickly. Usually by the time you back out of the garage. There are other ways to do this. This from Breeze is a common approach. https://breezeautomotive.com/shop/keep-alive-memory-jumper-kit/.

3. For the Speedhut vintage GPS gauges, you don't use the transmission speed sensor and there's no option to do so. Locate the antenna, power it up, and that's it.
