in the Gen3 wiring guide for the Coyote, the steps on page 101-105 are puzzling me

174669

I believe the wires in question here are from the 6 pin I/P pigtail, of which the Teal wire goes to the fuse panel to the fuel pump relay

174670 174665

the coyote harness blue wire has "SMR" printed on it which matches the manual

174671

the Coyote harness green wire has "toggle" printed on it (different from 'trigger'), and the Orange wire (RF harness) has "Coil or EFI" printed on it
174672

these seem to be the only wires that align in this space...

I was hoping to use the orange wire "Coil or EFI" for my fog lights since we cut the line to the fuel pump relay
but it seems that the "Coil or EFI" wire is used in this connection to the I/P Pigtail

what fuse line can be used now for the Fog Lights? Assuming one of the Orange wires?

The Coyote light green Ignition Relay Trigger wire can go to any source that's always +12V with the ignition on. It's purpose is to signal the Coyote PCM to wake up/start/run. The orange Coil/EFI per the instructions is one choice. For my Coupe build, I used the RF tan electric choke wire. It's also always on when the ignition is on and a dedicated electric choke wire is not required for a Coyote build.

My rationale was I used Coil/EFI 15 amp circuit for my heated seats and the electric choke 10 amp circuit for the Coyote Ignition Relay Trigger where current draw is minimal. Don't know what fog lights you're planning, but the higher 15 amp circuit might be a better choice for you too and the electric choke wire should be available.

Thanks Paul - that helps, I noticed the electric choke fuse as well... I have a set of Tangent lights, and I have LEDs for them so it should be well below the 15A requirement
