Does anyone know what these Frame Tabs are for? Thinking about removing them

Correct - those are the lap harness mounting tabs. Definitely don't want to cut those off.

ok. Thanks. I couldn't find anywhere in the manual where that was used for lap belts

If you put your floors in it will be much more apparent what they are for.
