When adding A/C to a 33 that was built without it, what kit would you use? The one from FFR or is there another option?

The one that FFR offers is a 2 outlet set up that are either heat or AC with a defrost manifold you can install, some don't and I don't see the point. The one they used to offer with the Gen 1 kit was a larger unit, I'm told, but had more outlet options and was still available from vintage air according to a builder I know. It would be one of their smaller units. The body needs to come off to install one though and find a place for the compressr and drive belt on your engine setup.

I've got the Classic Auto Air Street Rod Cooler installed in my Gen 1 Hot Rod: https://www.classicautoair.com/shop/complete-ac-systems/street-rod-cooler-iv-universal-air-conditioning-system/. Agree with Mastertech5 above about taking the body at least partially off - I just lifted the front up so I had room to work. Also, finding space for the compressor is challenging with some engines. I was lucky that a compact compressor mounted in the stock location on the Coyote just fit between the frame rails.

I've got the compact GenII unit for sale. It came with the Stage 1 kit I bought second hand and have no interest in installing A/C. See the link below.

Everything in box 28 is as Vintage Air packed it. I'm kind of sorry I opened it as it's going to be a challenge to get it all back in there correct. Everything is accounted for as on the inventory sheet.
