Started HR 991 (Gen 1) in April 2017 as a bucket list project. Going through this journey was challenging, sometimes frustrating, but mostly enjoyable and rewarding. I was and to a certain extent still am a complete novice and often discovered how much of a dumb a** I was working through the build process. I wanted to do and experience as much as I could in every aspect of the build to include mechanical, electrical, A/C, body work and paint and do it all in my garage. Mission accomplished. I want to extend my thanks to Dave Smith and all the good folks at Factory Five. To all the forum hot rod builders whose craftsmanship, ingenuity, and build insights inspired me to do the best I was capable and keep moving forward. A special thanks to Dan Ruth and Tim Whittaker who were generous with their time and feedback that was a source of encouragement and I did buy several of their product offerings that were a positive add to the build. The most important person in this build was my beautiful bride of more than 36 years. Could not have done this without her support.

Very Nice! Love the color! Great stance! Those 28" tires look perfect in the back - everyone says 28" is too tall for the rear, but it looks perfect to me!
