I know this is the Roadster Forum, but you never know when someone might want to add to their collection. Health and other concerns keep me from completing this project.
FFR USRRC 289 Complete Kit
Powder Coated frame and engine sheet metal
306 c.i., Holley carb from Blue Print Engines with TKX 5 spd trans with hydraulic clutch
Power steering
In tank fuel pump with SS fuel lines
2018 IRS 3.55 center section
427 dash gauge layout with GPS gauges
Breeze battery box and fan shroud
RT turn signal
Front & rear sway bars (not installed)
3 tank brake/clutch reservoirs
Weatherpak connectors
15” Halibrand Wheels with Cooper Cobra tires

This 289 is road worthy and ready for body and finish work. It is very smooth to drive and everything mechanical and electrical work. An independent shop installed the engine and transmission. For serious inquiries, they are available for an opinion on the quality of the build. Other pictures and video available upon request. I also have several hundred pictures of each stage of the build and a detailed diary of each step. Also, a spreadsheet with all expenses to date - $53,000

This is my second build. The first was a MKIV.

$40,000

Sorry to hear about your situation John. Looks like a well built car and a great opportunity for someone to jump into a car without investing a ton of time before driving.

Looks like a well planned build. I am sure someone will have to have this project.
I would want to know more specifics about the engine, which I am sure would happen in making the sell.
Out of curiosity, any specs on the engine?

For every builder out there, you know that a simple question never has a simple answer. For my MKIV build, I had Mike Fortes build a Dart block V8 with racing cam, pistons, fuel injection, etc. The dyno was well over 400HP. That was WAY more than I needed or wanted. With this build, I simply went with the stock 306ci from Blue Print Engines. It has the standard pistons and cam with aluminum intake, heads and bell. A 600cfm Holley carb. The dyno was 388HP @ 367 torque. I love it! It is smooth with power through all five gears, but not so much it scares you to death.

Great looking build with an excellent choice of components. Sorry you won’t get to finish it. Good luck with the sale; somebody is going to get a good one!
