I am at the point of roughing out my wiring harness locations for my couple and wonder if there is any downside to running the front harness through the pre-cut clutch cable hole. I am also using this for my clutch and brake reservoir hoses.

Certainly works. I used that hole for three reservoir lines since I used a triple reservoir, and put the front harness further to the outside. On the other side of the chassis frame member. Result was a little less congestion around the the three master cylinders. But what you're doing works too since you only need one line for the single reservoir.

I ran mine similar to Edward. I used the upper hole for my brake/clutch feed lines and a lower hole for the front harness.

I'm copying EdwardB also. 3 lines going out the frame hole into the Tilton triple reservoir, then the front wire harness will exit an independent grommet in the outside corner of the footbox sheet metal and is cushion-clamped along the outer square tube heading towards the radiator.
