Am I missing something? Wind wing bracket won’t fit over the windshield bracket. Is this because the windshield bracket is powder coated? Also what are these things for in the third picture? Or they extra for the sun visor?173910173911173912

You aren't the first to bring this issue up and I suspect there was a change of suppliers providing those brackets to FFR. You should be able to widen the slot with a file (I wouldn't try to bend them). The part in your first picture does look like a windshield channel clip, which isn't needed for the wind wings.

I've never had a problem getting the wind wing brackets over the windshield post---but I've never tried to install them on a powder coated post. Like Dave said, I'd just file the inside. The little tabs are for sun visors. If you have visors you won't get the screws for those to thread into the frame after having it coated (and often can't get them to thread in even if it's not coated!) so I suggest that you consider using my alternate mounting method that I show in post #3 here:

Thanks guys, appreciate the feedback

Papa,

I remember awhile back saying you ditched the Holley sniper set up. Curious on what you changed to and why

Papa,

I remember awhile back saying you ditched the Holley sniper set up. Curious on what you changed to and why

I started having drivability issues that I hadn't identified the root cause of, but looked like fuel issues. I started working with a tuner and identified a fuel pressure regulator failure, which I fixed (very easy to change on the Sniper). I then stated hearing a lot of noise from the fuel pump, which turned out to be some sort of contamination that had blocked the inlet of the pump. As I was working through the issues, the tuner had suggested I look into a multi-port EFI setup, which is what led me to deciding to go with an Inglese 8-stack EFI and all the parts to make that work. After getting it installed and tuned, my car is running better than it ever has. It was an expensive swap, but I'm very happy I did it both from the aesthetic and performance aspects.

I’m assuming that is not as easy as the sniper and requires a tuner to set up?

From the standpoint of hooking everything up, it isn't much more difficult than the Sniper -- same basic connections to the car's harness. From a complexity standpoint, it's way different than the Sniper to tune, and why I opted to have a pro do it.

The hardware package you are using is for the visors not the wind wings. I had the same issue on my last build. FFR supplied the wrong hardware pack. Still waiting on an answer.

Sent pictures to factory five. Pretty sure they’re going to send the right pack. They sent two packages for the sun visors. Thanks guys as always

Mike nailed it - i just took mine apart to paint and you've got the visor bracket. the windwing brackets are more U shaped like pictured in the instructions.

Those clamps are for the visors and not the side wind wings.
