Trying to figure the coyote fly by wire pedal location. Had to cut the right side mount hole off, but the electric connection is very close to the steering column. First build,( type 65 coupe) would appreciate comments, pictures or advice. Thanks so much

I trimmed my pedal in order for it to fit. In and out more times than to count. I adjusted my column to get it as far away from pedal as I could. I plugged mine in before I did final installation. It is a struggle but possible.

Thanks John, I expected it would be difficult.

It's not to difficult to change the connector. Break/cut the plastic. Solder wires to the posts at 90*. Fill with silicone. Make another plug with whatever you like. Not a big deal, really.

Takes some juggling and trimming, but the pedal can be made to fit and clear the steering column. This is the post in my build thread where I described what I did in some detail. https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-Complete-and-Graduated&p=343699&viewfull=1#post343699

This is a picture from later in the build with carpet installed and straight on showing how if it's angled slightly helps to clear the steering column. The pedal spacing works out fine for me.
