My 427 was Dyno'd last week.

Now a couple of things, I ordered a Holly Sniper set up and I wanted a streetable 427, not a crazy racing engine.

The results were Max HP 491.9 @ 5850 RPM, Max Torque 545.3 @ 3800 RPM

That's enough engine/torque for me considering this is a street only car.

I believe that Mike has Coyote engines available on his floor and he has 351 blocks available to stroke to a 427, just call him.

His prices are better than BPE and I was impressed with him!

Curious--I have a Windsor 427 as well with a sniper set up as well (yet to be started)--could you share additional engine parameters, i.e.
Compression ratio
Type of heads
Intake
Cam specs
Headers--I'm assuming you dyno'd it without full exhaust

Very nice! That low end torque is going to be a real blast to drive on the street. You might need to put an egg between your foot and the throttle pedal though:)

I don't think my 393 did too bad on the dyno.

I'll have a video I'll post in here when they send it, here's what I know:

Block: Ford 351 Boss
Heads: AFR 1351 185CC SBF ENFORCER 7/16 STUDS
Intake: WEIAND 8023WND
Cam: E303 - you can look up those specs
Headers: They had some long headers they used not sure what brand and yes without full exhaust attached just the headers out to the atmosphere.

Nice! Enjoy limitless torque.

That's a great torque curve for a street engine. That'll put a smile on anyone's face. Enjoy!

Hah! With those numbers, good lord she will sing.

Yup, That'll be big fun. But you'll need to treat the skinny pedal with respect. Doesn't mean you can't use it all though.
Hammer Down!

That is very cool, I would really like to get my car on the dyno someday. The SBF 427 in these cars is a very fun engine... as others mentioned just make sure and control your right foot when you hop in the drivers seat, they will get your attention very quickly...

Hi Brian,

I've got an invoice started with Mike for a similar package :)

What color did he paint your block?

Blue, but I bet he'd paint it any color you'd like. Can't hardly see it anyway with the heads in the way.

Thanks Brian! I ended up looking at quite a few "authentic" 427 FE block pictures...very difficult to see the block in those pictures, too :)

I painted my block silver. Anyone that asks, yes it's an aluminum block LOL

Mike built me a 351 back in 2012. Just under 400hp and it is plenty for me. The 6k redline, torque and close to 500HP will be a blast. Glad to hear he is still doing it!
