Looking for advise on covering inside door opening edge of the roadster body.
It looks like regular pinch molding would work, but the thickness of the unfinished fiberglass increases with distance from the edge. Hope that makes sense.
I have ordered a sample pack of molding from McMaster, but thought the brain trust would have some experienced advise on covering this edge.
Thanks for any help.

Joe,
Factory Five should have sent you a roll of this for the door opening flange. I use it on all of the ones that I do. The barb goes to the cockpit side of the opening.

Jeff, thanks for the help. Can you give me an approx Inside Width? The edge molding is a no show in my inventory.

Outside width is approximately 11/16” and the sides are about 9/16”. Inside of the “U” is approximately 9/16” discounting the barb. The molding has metal staples (for lack of a better term) embedded kind of like the bulb seal. This allows the opening to be spread wider or squeezed in to allow for the varying width of the body flange.
Hope that helps!

Hey - Jeff. I've been trying to get your contact information!!!
Mine has just gotten repainted and I need the same. Do you know the manufacturer/product name of the stuff that Factory Five ships?
Hope all is well. Inman

While speaking with Inman on the phone on Friday he said that he found the molding. Hopefully he'll see this and share the source.
