First I have to admit I am not very adept at searching for such things. I can’t seam to navigate to where I might find any instructions for the installation of the heat and sound material from FFR. Any help here would be greatly appreciated

One option is to type in Google “FFR heat and sound insulation” should show several threads.

I tried that and got a few threads from the forum but not any installation instructions. Does FFR have any such instructions available?

All available Factory Five supplemental instructions (e.g. those not typically in the build manual) are here: https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/instructions/. Don't see anything for heat and sound, but still the first place you should look. Not familiar with what they provide. I've always done it myself. But can't be too difficult.

Last winter I asked them the same thing, and I was told they did not yet have a layout drawing or in inventory list similar to what they have for the carpet. The pieces for the deadener and for the soundproofing are all numbered, but don’t relate to each other or to the carpet pieces. There were also gaps in the numbers so I don’t know if I received everything. I suspect that not everywhere was getting both treatments, but who knows. I was pretty disappointed with this option because of that.

3M makes an adhesive that is for high temperature application. That is what I used on my sound heat insulation material that was not self adhesive. I cut mine out from sheets that I had in inventory. I used cool it self adhesive pad where it would be covered up by the headliner. I also used generic self adhesive padding I got off of Amazon on the tunnel area.173777

I emailed F5 this week and they have no map for the sound insulation. I honestly can only find where the big pieces fit (the trunk floor and seat floors and tunnel covers). The rest is a mystery so I might just return the entire box and ask for store credit. The carpet map does not translate to these pieces. Plus... I don't think there's even enough to do the entire interior.
I bought a bunch of sound deadening on Amazon and will cut and install that as I go through each section of the car. It'll be easier to design and implement this way.

I used the Koolmat kit from Mark at Breeze. Great instructions and easy to put down. Works great.

That's strange because the 33 Hot Rod sound and heat insulation kit instructions has a MAP for both, although the numbered pieces don't all translate to all of the shapes.

I found all but two or three pieces homes. Some areas are left open to my surprise. It is definitely a big gig saw puzzle. I have the body back on now because some of the aluminum panels had to wait for that to be installed now the pieces destined for the upper fire wall are blocked from installing, go figure.
