I'm planning to attend the build school in December...can't wait. :)
Are the recommended lodging choices from the brochure OK? Anything to watch out for?
Here are the hotels with preferred rates:
Holiday Inn Gateway Flint/Grand Blanc
Courtyard by Marriott
Thanks,

I think there's two hotels listed on the ffr website. Right next door to each other. Both are just a place to rest your head at best, and you'll go as a group to nearby restaurants. The instructors are A++, and the overall experience is great.
Have fun!
I stayed at the grand blanc last month for the build school. It was great. Build school was great, too

Hi Alec,
I looked at your info...what was it like to go to the school after getting your kit delivered?
I imagine you couldn't wait to ask about the build issues you had already run across...were the Instructors receptive to that?

I think overall this place is probably the nicest of the bunch.

I wont be teaching that class but enjoy.

While I had done a ton of reading prior to the school, my kit shipped when I was there. I hadn't started. But a million questions, yes, myself and everyone there. Todd and Scott were awesome.
