Wondering if anyone has the correct part number for this application?
FF sent me 16038 - but it appears to be a little short
(2" or so?)173616
Here is a pic of Paul B's driveshaft as comparison
173617
Can't imagine this isn't a pretty common combination - don't know what FF is having a tough time figuring out which one to send
Thanks for any help!

From my initial order sheet: 16038 - 31 SPLINE 2015 IRS 8.375" DRIVESHAFT. I have the exact same setup as you except I have a mk4 roadster. Perhaps they sent you the drive shaft for a roadster of that setup instead of a coupe with that setup?

My Gen 3 Coupe with Gen 3 Coyote and T56 came with driveshaft part number 60375. Described on my order sheet as 31 SPLINE 2015 IRS 9.75" DRIVESHAFT, 3" CHROMOLY TUBE, COYOTE w/6spd MAGNUM, GEN 3 COUPE, BLACK, 1330 U-JOINTS, 2-3-6041X YOKE, 2-2-489 PINION FLANGE. The parts website describes it the same way: https://www.factoryfiveparts.com/60375-gen-3-coupe-31-spline-9-75-driveshaft/
16038 is described on the parts website as ROADSTER 31 SPLINE 8.375" DRIVESHAFT for the 2015 IRS. Works with 302/351W engines with a TKO transmission.
So, yes you have the wrong one, and yes it's too short. That's way too much slip joint to be exposed.

Paul,
Does the Gen 3 Coupe have a different wheelbase than the MK4 Roadster? FFR indicated to me that the 16038X 31 SPLINE IRS 8.38" DRIVESHAFT was the correct driveshaft for my Roadster with a Coyote based Aluminator with a T56. I also have the IRS. The picture of Rian's installation does appear quite short.

The Coupe wheelbase is 95 inches. Five more than the Roadster. Driveshafts between the two aren't five inches different, so the engine location within the chassis is different as well. Not surprising given the completely different chassis, deeper dash area, etc. Bottom line, the same engine/trans/rear suspension combinations between the two will have different drive shaft lengths.

Thanks Paul! I have no idea where we would all be without your help and knowledge!
