Anyone put this on their windshield to protect against chipping? If so, what did you use? Shop wanted $600. I thought that was crazy, and thought I’d DIY it, but am having a hard time finding anyone that sells it.

I have thought about that a lot on my other car. I did the clear bra so why not the w/s? I bought a kit but it had a problem. It was made to go on the inside. The greyed out area at the mirror, sensor assembly was not symetrical so turning it over didn't work too well. Then I ruined it trying the install myself. There are several popular clear bra materials and if you search around you can find it in plain rolls of different dimensions. I think diy'ing an FFR w/s would not be too bad. Youtube videos are a big help.
