Well after 6 months in paint jail I got the call that he’s ready for the chassis to come back and put the body back on. Excited to be in the home stretch and nearly drivable especially with cooler weather approaching (houston). 173317173318173319173320

Very nice! Similar to my #2 choice when I had mine painted. It will look stunning when you have her back together.

Looks great. I am getting ready to start my build next month near Fort Worth. Where did you have yours painted? I am looking for a good painter for mine in Texas.

A1 Auto Restoration just outside of houston (copperfleid). Walter is the guy that runs it and does the majority of the work himself. He does great work but it takes time. Mine has been there a little over 6 months. It does appear that he’s gotten some help and other cars are making good progress faster than mine did. What sold me on using him was he’s about 15 mins from my house so I can go see progress often and the fact that he’s done a lot of FF cobras. He’s very familiar with these cars (has 6 others in primer right now).
