Monthly Factory Five Get together next Saturday

Another month in the rear view mirror and it's time for another gathering at Alices in San Mateo county.
Next Saturday October 8th at Alices restaurant on skyline. Corner of highway 35 and 84. We usually start arriving 8-8:30 and stay for breakfast.
I am looking forward to seeing everyone.

I thought it was going to be on the 13th, but I probably put it down on the wrong day on the calendar. Got my car back from paint, and all back together. Got through my SB100 inspection, so now I have license plates, but I have some minor things I need to adjust before I attempt my first long distance highway trip. I'll look forward to trying to make it next month if the weather holds up.

I am up for a get together on the 13th as well since I have had something come up and cannot make Saturday.

I'll see how all the items that I need to do go and let you know. I just got back from vacation back in North Carolina and I'm jet lagged beyond belief! I'm going to try to get started on some items tomorrow. The item I want to get fixed the most is calibrating the speedometer. It seems no matter what I do I can't get it to work.. I may contact Speedhut and see if I can switch to a gps unit. We'll see.

Minor issues seem to continue to pile up. I haven't had the opportunity to take some longer rides yet, so I'm not comfortable going that far yet. I'll continue to monitor this thread, and hopefully take the drive over soon. You guys have a great time.

Everyone, I am sorry I missed last Saturday's event. I will be at Alice's this Sunday the 16th at 8:30.
We are expecting three, yes you heard that right three type 65's. Not often you have three type 65's in the same location.
Hoping to see everyone.
