I received my complete kit 6 weeks ago. The following parts are just some of what is still on back order. Are others experiencing the same delays. Some of these parts I can order on EBay and get in just a few days??
Steering wheel, Floor Mags, rear caliper spacers, outer tie rod ends, m16 flagged lock nuts, trunk gas struts, 1” flange bearing, 3/4 pillow block, lug nuts, carpet, head lights, gas pedal, front upper control arm.
What is the problem.

That's a pretty short list. My POL was a page and a half.
Did you start working? From that list sounds like you can still make a lot of progress before you actually get stuck.

That's not a bad list, mine was about 3/4 of a page and half of that was small items like nuts and bolts that I could source locally. Some of the items on your list you're going to have to wait on FFR, things like the steering wheel and carpet. Others you won't need for a few months so you'll most likely have them before you need them. You're better off to go with the Russ Thompson gas pedal so you don't need to worry about the FFR one.
Upper control arms are going to bring you to a stop on the front suspension pretty quick so hopefully FFR gets those to you soon. Those bearings are for the steering shaft, if they hold you up just order them from McMaster Carr. That's what I did.
The world is still recovering from supply chain issues but it's getting better every day. Hang in there!

Try to work around it. We’ve all been through it; FFR will eventually ship everything out- my kit arrived in may and I just got notification that my last part is on its way. I originally wanted a Lego kit too where everything was there on day one- but honestly there’s so much to dive into it’s unlikely you’ll get really stuck unless you’re either building 8hrs a day or really unlucky. I had a few instances where I had to order parts online (mc master carr is your friend here) but that’s really because I got impatient. The manual doesn’t need to be followed totally sequentially- you can jump around a fair bit if you’re blocked.
Like others have said, your list isn't so bad. Mine was over a page long and took over 6 months (can't remember exactly but believe it was 10 months) for everything to come in. But I picked up my kit right when all of the supply issues started. It never slowed me down as I was always able to find something to work on. Good luck with your build!

that's a relatively short list. Mine was about a half page long and this was prepandemic.
FFR has their own vendors that they get supplies through. During covid, a single part from a supplier, like a polyurethane bushing, would hold up the shipment for all their control arms.
I waited 10mo to get my rear brakes as the vendor they were using at the time stopping communicating with FFR. FFR did offer to refund my $$ so I could source them from another vendor.
At the end of the day, there was plenty to work on while waiting for other parts to arrive, and FFR always came through. They even sent me a new headlight switch after I discovered mine was faulty 2 yrs into my build.
Dave Smith and his team are a stand-up company and will do right by you.
