Anyone know when grills will be shipped. No answer from FFR

I have sent an email every week and it has been over 2 weeks with no answer about POL. My main road block is the grill. I would like to get to first start while I have a wiring mockup. My 33 is #1289 received 4/12/22. Just checking if anyone around that serial number has heard anything. Hate posting these kinds if threads as I do not want bash FFR but I am not getting anywhere.

Finally got an answer from FFR today. No ETA of any kind for Grill.

I know supply chain issues are causing issues in every industry... but this is really concerning with such a crucial component. A lot of the stuff on these kits can be sourced elsewhere, or other approaches can be used to find work arounds, whether temporary or becoming long-term solutions. But the grill is such a key component with really no alternative! I was hoping to buy a grill to get to gokart stage separate before buying stage 2, but I guess that's not an option now.

Has anyone mounted their radiator without the grill, just for gokart testing?

I just ordered my Stage 2 body kit. Pick up in late April. I hope they have grills by then.

Finally got an answer from FFR today. No ETA of any kind for Grill.

SHocked you got a response.. i've been trying to get knock offs that were missing from my rims since July.. emailing once a week and the last 4 weeks absolute zero response.

Yea I am a little anxious to say the least since no other option. Well you guys with completed 33 ford better watch your grills. Looks like a lot of us will be on the prowl soon. :eek:

The radiator bolts to the grill, which bolts to the frame. Shouldn’t be hard to make a bracket for each side. Couple tabs bolted to frame, forward to the upper radiator tabs, with a long brace down to the lower tabs, so there’s no torque on the radiator mount tabs. Couple little welds maybe.

UPDATE: My grill showed up. So they are getting them and shipping them. I got mine 6 months after delivery for those still waiting.
