Rivet question

Hello eveyone,
Newbie question here:
On the rivets, I'm assuming the longer 1/8 x 1/2 rivets are for when you're connecting aluminum panel to frame? This occurred to me after I assembled a few of the panels using the shorter rivets (3/16?) and then "stumbled" on to the bag of longer ones. If this is the case, should I drill out these I've completed and replace them with the longer ones?

No need to drill them out. As long as you are using the silicone between the panel and frame your good. But the shorter ones are more for panel to panel. As an FYI I ended up having to buy more of both rivets as I ran out during the build. But I did a couple of modifications which required additional rivets.
