I have several 'add-on' electrical harnesses, things like seat-heaters, electric parking brake, usb chargers, etc

most (if not all) come with an in-line fuse (see pic)

while I'd like to keep things 'intact' from the kits - it seems there would be fuses in multiple areas in/around the dash, cubby, engine bay, etc.
what have you done to 'centralize' your troubleshooting location for fuse checking?

I personally try to remove all those in-line fuses for additions and attach them through a regular fused circuit on the panel. Takes some creativity, but I've found it possible with all my builds. Even when adding things. An easy solution I've used several times when I run out of circuits is resettable breakers like these. https://www.delcity.net/store/Optifuse-Auto-Reset-Colored-Circuit-Breakers/p_954285.h_954288. I don't like to be searching everywhere for in-line fuses. The only exception I've made so far is the cruise control on my truck build. There I did run out of good choices. I mounted in the in-line fuse in the mounting panel of the main fuse box, pointing down, so it's in the same place and easily identified. Of course another option is to add another fuse panel. There are lots of options for those. But I haven't found that necessary.

I have used Blue Seas fuse blocks and plan on it for my roadster. They make a 4, 6, and 12 fuse version. Uses regular car fuses and not inline ones. Easier to have those fuses handy. If you need both switched and always on, the 12 one is interesting. It’s really 2 fuse blocks in 1. You run a hot to the first half and that is always on. From that you use a relay to power the other half. You end up with 6 fused always on and 6 fused switch. Take a look. It may be helpful if you can find the room and a spot to easily change the fuses.

thanks guys - yes I have the BlueSea 12-fuse version (https://amzn.to/3Lsc3T9) where 6 are HAAT and 6 are key-on power, i plan to run a separate high-power relay to power the key-on segment

it's a lot of planning at this phase for sure!
