Beautiful car. Of course I'm partial to yellow! Makes me wish I could place an order for one today but that will be a while yet. What insulation did you use on the foot boxes and firewall?

This is a product that I have used before and is from Moss Motors. I am sure some others have the same stuff. I am a little worried about how close it is to the headers and time will tell.

The hood is on the car. The hood to pontoon alignment is off a little on one side. It was an area I struggled with greatly

Beautiful. Love the color. It even looked good with white base too.

I noticed when the car was idling with the ac on the compress would kick on and off. When the engine coolant fan came on the compressor would stay running. A quick check of the gauges showed the high pressure switch was cutting off the compressor. I choose to create a circuit to control a set of fans on the condensor that would operate independent of the engine control pack. I purchased two fans from Summit racing and a two relay fan controller. I placed the temperature sensor at the inlet to the ac condensor and i set the on temperature just a little below the point where the compressor would cycle. The ac blows icy cold all the time. The real test comes when in traffic in the summer heat.

The thermostat valve for the oil system. When cold the oil is not sent to the oil cooler but is directed to the remote oil filter then on to the engine. When oil temp reaches 180 degrees F the valve then directs the oil to the oil cooler which has a fan mounted on it that is on a switch set to 180 degrees F.
