After waiting an extremely long time…about 7 months I have all my Gas N Goodies here and installed. The wait was worth it. Excellent welds and features on sidepipes and headers. The stainless headers feature open bolt holes that allow you to put in the lower bolts and gasket and then slide the header up and into position. It sits there loose as you install the uppers before tightening down without having to hold them in place. On the end of each header is a ball flange. Right before the ball flange is a cone shape welded in the collector to help with air flow right after the point where the four tubes connect into one.It looks like a dagger and is an extra feature I did not know I was getting.
The ball flanges on the end of each header allow you to install the side pipes, jack them into aproxímate locations and then move them in and out from the body to fit the hangers. This was a great time saver and it also allowed adjustments that required no shims or extra products to make them fit. When everything was lined up I could tighten down the ball flange. The Gas N headers are well worth it and sport several features the factory five ones did not. I am eager to hear them in action. I am going to fire up soon after putting in my fluids, setting fuel pressure, and priming the engine. I would highly recommend the upgraded Gas N Pipes due to their features, quality, performance and great customer service from Georgie!
