I'm trying what I thought was a simple maintenance task in putting in a new fuel filter. Turns out not so easy. My car was delivered in 2010 with what I thought was a motorcraft filter, but I don't have a part number. I emailed FFR and the provided the following numbers.
FRAM G5738
WIX 36010BRP
I've searched the web and been to 3 parts stores, and these don't seem to exist.
The inlet and outlet are 3/8. Here are photos of the filter and connector. Does anyone have any other numbers?
Thanks
John

Not sure what the part number is, but I have a brand new one never used (used a different filter in my build), if you want it. No charge, I'd be happy to get it out of the garage.

Best offer I've had all day, I'll PM you. Thanks again.

Just for future reference, after looking around a bit, I found a post on the "other" forum by Mark Reynolds. Two filters are currently available that have 3/8 inlet and outlet:
Motorcraft FG1083
WIX 33243

I found those, but the body is smaller and I’m being lazy and trying to avoid changing the bracket.

If you've got fuel injection, check how fine a filter you need. As I recall, the F5-provided filter I received (in 2015, so things have almost certainly changed), was 30u, and my Holley EFI called for 20u. It was easy enough to find a filter that met the Holley spec online.

related question. I'm hoping someone knows as it will save me some time pulling the original...
The filter that comes with the kit (at least mine did in 2015) is part number 14471. Are the connections on that filter 5/16 or 3/8? I want to get a replacement filter, but I want to ensure I have the same input/output size so I don't have a connector mismatch. Thanks!

The connectors on mine were 3/8. Best I could find, the filter that I got with mine in 2010 was an autocraft part that was a one year only sort of thing. I found a Wix filter, #33243, that has the same input/output sizes and is the same overall length. The body is smaller, but I was able to adjust the clamp enough to hold it. Hope this helps.
