Hood hinge and hoop

I have an early Mk I. Want to upgrade to a MK2 or 3 setup. Any suggestions. Like, get a MKIII hood and set up etc. Thxs for all suggestions.

I am currently doing this upgrade.
You’ll need these brackets from FFR. I’m going to bolt mine on. 172011
Call FFR and ask them to sell you a pair.
The hoop and hinge assy I got from a Mk3. I had the hoop, hinge assy and frame brackets powder coated black.
On the Mk1, you’ll have to cut out the plates used for the optional hood pins. 172013

All the pieces minus the “P” shaped frame bracket: 172014
Parts: Hood hoop, two right angle brackets, hinge assembly and two frame “P” shaped brackets.

This is exactly what i want to do. Mine is # 1573 from 1998. Almost 25 years old. B lew up T5 for second time and just finished putting in a TKX. Owned for 21 years. Mods are very closr to yours, no A/C tho. Thanks for info. More pixtures would be great.
