After 1,200 miles my FFR bare steel quick jacks look oxidized/rusty. I can clean them but I’d like to polish them up. Given they are bare steel, anyone have a method of polishing them? I’d prefer not to chrome them.

I found this:

You may want to clear coat the parts after they're polished to keep them shiny longer.

I saw that actually. Looks simple enough. Curious if anyone has tried doing that with success.

I've not tried it personally, but after watching enough of those restoration videos on YouTube I'm convinced that you can polish anything. :) Quick jacks should be a breeze to polish compared to some of the stuff they bring back to life in those videos.

Smooth the edges down and powder coat with chrome and clear powder.

Initially I had quick jacks on mine before changing to bumperettes. I powder coated mine with reflective aluminum powder coat and they turned out amazing. They also make chrome powder coat too. here is a picture of them before swapped to the bumpers.
