Working on the brakes & was thinking of replacing the FFR supplied front calipers/rotors with the FFR Wilwood kit. Is this a straight swap or is anything else needed outside of the kit? Car has the Wilwood twin master cylinder with balance bar & brake pedal.

No issues except they are backordered everywhere. You could swap in Mustang Cobra brakes instead. Much cheaper and are 13 inch brakes.

Every brake kit for an SN95 should fit and be a direct swap, there is a fair selection out there. I have a stoptech setup on mine.

Took a shot at some SN95 brakes. Hope to get them on next week.

There is no way whatsoever I'd purchase anything Wilwood again. If they can't stand behind their own products, there is no way I'm putting any trust in them. There are superior choices for less that have the manufacturers backing and can provide a reasonable delivery time. Wilwood offers ZERO in the way of warranty and once purchased, you are completely on your own.

Brake bleeding question. Have the Willwood twin master cylinder system, fronts on one rears on the other..

Have new SN95 Mustang SVT Cobra fronts installed. The rear package will not be here for a week. Is it possible to blead the fronts before the rear units are installed. I have a pressure bleeder.

Yes. They are independent from one another.

Rear brakes came in and am working on the car today. Decided since I was opening the system would flush it & replace my single reservoir, which always bother me from a redundancy point of view, with a dual unit. The calipers were shipped each with two copper washers, do these go on both sides of the banjo bolts?

If you are using the 6 piston front caliper, you might find the Wilwood pads too hard for street driving. I did a pretty good search and could find only one pad that would fit with a softer compound. I think it was a Hawk 30. Might confirm that before committing.

The copper washer goes between the banjo bolt and the caliper.

Edit: Rich's response below is correct.

Yes, on both sides of the bolt.

Pads are similar but the Cobra caliper has a little more beef. Spring clips on the pads are a pain in the *** to install other than that its a quick swap. Have to do the passenger side the mount the dual reservoirs to get back on the road. FWIW nice cool turbo weather with warm streets from the sun. Dragy got a 2.9 second 0-60 run out of the M4C with a Launch Control start. Just a shade slower than the C&D test.
