Can anyone tell me where I can buy the handle people bolt on to the dashboard in place of the glovebox.

Here is a picture of what I'm referring to.

Awesome cockpit, that is exactly what I have in mind for my MKIV. Can you please give me details on your gauges, switches, switch guards, and carbon fiber?

I actually found that picture online, and was just using it to show the type of handle I'm looking for. My guess for the gauges is that they are either AutoMeter or SpeedHut. The switch covers are http://www.google.com/products/catalog?client=safari&rls=en&q=switch+covers&oe=UTF-8&um=1&hl=en&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1166&bih=680&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=13752103992633371550&sa=X&ei=dgjZTrGrGYL10gGNq8nmDQ&ved=0CJMBEPMCMAA#ps-sellers.

I ordered mine from Overtons - boating products. I also ordered stainless cup holders at the same time.

I bought mine from a boat supply house as well. I like mine because it has threaded inserts so it's a little cleaner. I made a mounting setup behind the dash, you can see it on my blog: http://www.kdcobrabuild.com/?s=holy.

I couldn't remember or find the link to the place where I bought mine, but here's one that looks really similar to mine.

West Marine also sells a handrail that looks just like that.

I will get mine once I actually start on the dash/interior

I got this holycrap bar from Rex Marine. Be sure to fab some bracing for it so it's strong . . . or someone will pull your dash out. I don't weld so I made a frame from 1" steel stock that bolts to the dash hoop above and to the 3" square frame in front. I wanted a glove box also, so this frame leaves room for the glove box. Create what you like - that's the fun part.

Thanks Kevin, this is the type I was looking forward - The clean install with the bolts attaching through the back.

I like the installation under the dash because my dash flips down on hinges for access. So that would be better. But both ways look cool!!!
Thanks for the sources. WEK.
