I was wondering if anyone in the roadster community has used the “Specialty Power Windows WWK-2 Standard Universal Wiper Drive Kit” and you opinion of it? Also what wiper arms and wiper blades did you use.
Thank you

Yes, I installed them on my MKIV It's an excellent product. I just followed what EdwardB did on his build. He makes it look easy but for me, it was a total PIA. I think I spent almost 36 hours just on getting the wipers installed and set up correctly. I think I used 9 inch wipers, but I'll have to look it up to confirm. Unless your state requires them, I'd skip it. There should be pictures in my build thread.
Good luck!

I've installed them on a Coupe and now my Truck. But not on a Roadster. They're a nice product and a significant upgrade IMO over the usual Lucas reproduction style wipers. Maybe not full OE quality. But certainly a step up. Cheaper too. The good news is they're fully adjustable. Wipe direction, angle of motion, etc. The bad news is they're fully adjustable. For both builds I had them together and apart numerous times to get them just right. Discussed here in my build thread: https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?26630-Edwardb%92s-Gen-3-Type-65-Coyote-Coupe-59-Build-Complete-and-Graduated&p=317637&viewfull=1#post317637. My last Roadster build had 10" blades. The Specialty Power Windows setup uses 1/2-inch fine spline knurls. Not sure if that works with the usual Roadster arms to be honest. No experience there. Sorry. I used Anco arms on my Coupe and the Specialty Power Windows hot rod billet arms on my truck. Neither would be suitable for a Roadster.

Thank you for replying. Thanks to Caddy Dad I was up half the knight going through your roadster build. lol Your car looks outstanding! I think I'm going to buy these and give them a try. My Mk4 kit is supposed to be ready for pick up the last of October or the first of November. I picked up my first roadster that I built in November of 2002. Hopefully that a good omen.
Thanks again

Thank you Caddy Dad for your reply and the idea to check out edwardb's thread.

I'm in the process of installing them in my build. If you look in my build thread you can see some details on where I mounted the motor, as well as some wiring info on how to use a Lucas two-position toggle with park capability with the WWK-2. I haven't yet ID'ed a set of wiper arms that I'm planning to use though, as I haven't mounted the body yet.

Thanks you for replying. I glanced through your build you're doing an awesome job. I'll keep up with your build to find out what you find for wiper arms, blades, bezels and your sources for them.
