Hi All.
I ordered my '35 Truck with the Wilwood big brake upgrade, i.e., 12.88" front and 12.18" rear. I've already ordered from Wheel Smith four 18x8 wheels that I know will clearly fit.
Here's my question.... From the front hub, center, what's the radius from the center of the hub to the outer most of the Wilwood caliper? Or, If any one knows, what's the minimum size wheel needed to clear the caliper of the Wilwood 12.88" brake? I assume if it clears the front, it will work fine on the rear by default.
The reason I ask, I want to carry a spare tire some of the time. I'm looking to purchase a cheap steel wheel with a spare tire. It doesn't need to match anything as it's a spare only. The spare tire I choose will have a sideway height needed to get close to the overall diameter of the 245/45R-18 tires I'm putting on the truck's 18x8 alum wheels.
Thanks Mark

You will need 1 inch spacers from and rear for the Wheel Smith wheels. Standard Mustang 17 inch wheels will clear the brakes,.

Wilwood site has very good drawings with dimensions for all their part numbers.

I'm piggy backing onto this since wheels are the one item I am no good with. I've seen other posts in the forum, and I see spacers and no spacers. I am looking that these wheels for my '35 with Wilwood upgrade and full fenders.

I'd like to make it a roller soon. Appreciate the help and information.

I have the same Wheel Smith Hot Rod Wire Wheels referenced earlier in this thread. They are 18" diameter, 8" width, 5 on 4.50" lugs (also includes 4.75"), 5.00" backspace. They require 1" spacers as referenced above to clear the Wilwood brakes but also to give the proper location on the fender lips. The Foose wheels you link to are the same diameter and width, with 4.54" backspace. I would expect you would also need at least 1" spacers. For the brakes and appearance. You would find out pretty quickly when trying to fit them. Spacers are not hard to find. Just make sure to get hub centric. Aside, not clear what the reference is at the bottom of the link "Wheel Backspace Range 4.500 - 4.999". Are they 4.54" or not?
